Ise Temple, Japan - Preview

Sent in by one of our members, Phil Wickes, this is an unusual and interesting little subject.

It features an ornamental walkway that leads to a Shinto shrine in Japan, but it's really as much about the bright summer foliage as the structures themselves.

It's a good opportunity to practice trees en-masse, and successful mixing of greens; made all the more interesting by the unusual shapes of the structures, and the added narrative of the figures, carrying brightly coloured umbrellas.
