I came across this little scene walking through a park, with a bit of time to spare, waiting to do a painting demonstration for Lancaster Art Group. I think the most important factor here is the bright light, particularly the warm, reflected light under the arch, and the swarm sunlit feel with the dappled shadows on the left hand bank.
