Gemlik, Turkey - For this latest project I have used a photo sent in by a member, Rob. Rob tells me that he has really struggled with depicting the bright sunlight that we are looking into and the way It is filtered through the trees. I was intrigued myself as to what would be the best way to tackle this, so thought it would make a good tutorial. Rob took the photo in Gemlik in Turkey, but if you’d asked me to guess the location I would have gone for somewhere in the UK. This one isn’t about the place though, it’s all about the light, the excellent composition and the techniques used to depict it.
