For this project I borrowed a brilliant photo, of early morning on Mount Ephraim, Tunbridge Wells, taken by the head of the filming and editing team, Roddy.

I was initially unsure of what sort of painting it would make, but in the end it has turned out to be one of my favourite tutorials; and I really enjoyed the painting and teaching process.

I think the trickiest part of it was how to tackle the foreground, and in the end I had to remind myself of what I often hear myself saying, “less is more”.
