The subject of this tutorial is a location that is definitely on my list of places to visit; I just haven’t made it yet, so have worked from this excellent stock photo, which uses the traditional viewpoint that adorns so many calendars and travel brochures.

I love the azure blue of the sea, the pristine white wash of the stucco walls, and the blue of a subtly different shade on the twin domes.

If you are a bit unsure of your drawing skills, it is definitely one to make use of the tracing, as no amount of careful painting will disguise any flawed architectural detail.
