For this atmospheric evening scene, I’ve chosen the quiet location of Robin Hood’s Bay on the Yorkshire coast; a place very popular with both oil and watercolour artists.

It’s a fairly simple subject, but no less satisfying, that focuses mainly on achieving the atmosphere of the evening light with, a simple, limited palette.
