This frequently painted subject has plenty to offer artists of all abilities. I love the contrast in shape and structure of the buildings from the conical shape of the old mill to the bit of the old abbey ruin, with rustic stone-work. All this is set against an atmospheric Norfolk sky occupying nearly three quarters of the paper.
