It's hard to believe that this is the hundredth tutorial on the site. To mark the occasion I've chosen a beautiful scene, that of Windsor Castle, viewed from the River Thames.
This is an excellent subject to get stuck into, with the dominant shape of the Castle tower and structure, rising above the abundance of bright foliage in the masses of trees that almost frame the buildings. This is finished off perfectly with figures strolling along the river bank and a couple of pleasure boats out on the water.
The tutorial is over 2 and a half hours long, so will take a little effort and patience, but ultimately enjoyable, absorbing and very rewarding.
